For extra strength, the frame on a heavy duty base is made from metal, rather than wood. For 4’ and 4’6” base sizes, the base is supplied with two synchronised frame actions and two motors.

Please note:

The Heavy Duty feature is available in all sizes, but not with drawers or on legs.

We recommend a heavy duty base for those who sleep in

a more upright position.
