A Hypnos deep-divan Platform top base with a lightly padded solid top  comes with chrome castors as standard, and is ideal if you prefer a slightly firmer feel to the mattress, or if you wish to include standard or continental storage drawers.

A 'Shallow' platform base on legs is another option if storage drawers are not required.

Each Hypnos 'deep-divan' firm edge sprung base comes with chrome castors as standard, and is ideal if you prefer a slightly softer mattress feel.

Smaller continental/standard storage drawers may be added to a deep firm edge sprung divan base, or a 'Shallow' firm edge sprung base on legs is another option if storage drawers are not required.

Each Hypnos 'Hideaway' Platform top storage base comes with chrome castors as standard and has a lightly padded solid top producing a slightly firmer feel to the mattress.

This 'open' under-bed storage solution has large lift-up pelmets to cleverly disguise and hide the open storage space.

Storage Drawers

Drawer Features

Storage drawers may be included in any deep divan platform top base or firm edge sprung base as detailed above, and are designed to accommodate items such as pillows, bed linen, clothing etc.

'Continental-size' drawers can be combined with standard size drawers for ease of opening next to bedside tables or winged headboards, and  constructed to open easily on metal drawer runners.

A maximum weight of 20kg per standard drawer, or 10kg per small continental drawer is recommended.
