This set of two Brushstrokes canvas prints comprises two framed canvases each featuring an array of bold black brushstroke marks, flowing from one to the next.

Each brushstroke is then enhanced with a thicker layer of paint, applied by hand using traditional tools, leaving visible texture on the canvas surface.  This painting technique (called ‘Impasto’) was made popular by classic artists such as Van Gogh and Rembrandt.

Each canvas measures 80cm x 120cm (162cm x 4cm x 120cm in total) and have a black effect wood frame. They hang portrait only, on two integral hooks (wall fixtures not included).
